Does the calculator include tax?
No. Gross margin is calculated from the commercial price after discount and the cost you enter. Tax is kept outside the margin calculation.
What if cost is higher than the quoted price?
The calculator will show a negative gross profit and negative margin, which means the quote is below the entered cost basis.
