Supported files and matching rules
Upload a CSV, XLS or XLSX workbook. The tool reads the first worksheet, detects the first email and phone columns from their headers, and compares each row with earlier rows.
Email values are trimmed and lowercased. Phone values are reduced to digits and a leading international 00 is removed when the number has at least seven digits. A row with an email is keyed by email; otherwise a detected phone is used. If neither column is found, only exact normalized full-row matches are removed.
Which contact is kept and how data is handled
The first row for each matching key is retained; later matching rows are counted as duplicates and omitted from the downloaded cleaned CSV. The tool does not merge fields from duplicate rows, so review the output before importing it.
The file is read and processed in your browser; the tool code does not upload contact rows to a server. Usage analytics record tool actions, not the contact data. Try the sample CSV before uploading your own file.
