Sales / Lead Scoring

A lead score you can explain to the salesperson using it.

See the lead score and the factors behind it, while qualification and salesperson priority remain separate decisions.

Use the score as a triage signal, not a buying-intent claim

Each scored lead gets a numeric score and an explanation. Current scoring looks at available business details such as rating and whether a website, email address and phone number are present.

That can help sort a prospecting list, but it is not behavioral intent data and it does not know whether a company is ready to buy.

Show why the number changed

The contributing factors remain visible with the lead instead of leaving the rep with a number and no explanation.

A salesperson can therefore see whether a higher score came from stronger available business details rather than treating the score as a mysterious prediction.

Keep scoring separate from the human qualification decision

When the scoring job runs, Lynka also updates the lead probability field from the calculated score. The qualification record remains separate.

Need, decision maker, budget discussion, timing and next action still require the team to confirm what it has actually learned from the prospect.

Priority is still your decision

Lead priority is a separate field. A rep can decide that a strategically important account deserves immediate attention even when the available data produces a modest score.

The reverse is also possible: a well-populated business profile can score well and still be a poor fit after a real conversation.

Scoring is available on eligible paid plans

Lead scoring is available to Pro, Pro Trial and Teams workspaces.

Free workspaces do not receive this scoring job.

Use qualification to decide whether a deal should exist

The scoring signal can help a rep decide where to start, but the final pre-pipeline decision is qualification.

Once the team has enough evidence that the opportunity is real, the lead can continue into a deal with its own value, stage, probability and expected close date.

The current score is deliberately explainable

Lynka's current score is rule-based and explainable. It uses the business rating and whether a website, email address and phone number are present, and it keeps the reasons beside the score.

It does not claim to predict buying intent, scrape hidden behavior or infer that a company is ready to purchase. A high score means the lead has more of the information the current rule values, not that the deal is guaranteed to close.

A better lead record can change the score for an understandable reason

If a lead initially has only a company name and later gains a website, email and phone number, the score can increase because those specific factors changed. The reasons make that movement auditable to the salesperson.

That transparency is useful when a team wants a simple prioritization signal without treating an opaque model as the qualification decision.

Lynka takes the narrower approach. It can score available business-record signals, show the reasons and leave the actual qualification decision with the sales team.

Lead scoring is useful when it helps a rep decide where to look first. It becomes dangerous when a simple number is marketed as proof that somebody wants to buy.
